Steps to Take After a Loss

Step 1

Make sure everyone is safe

If there are injuries, call emergency services. If police or fire services are required, call immediately.

Step 2

Prevent further damage (only if safe)

For water damage, shut off the source if possible. For property damage, secure the area to prevent additional loss.

Step 3

Document everything

Take photos/video and note dates/times. Keep a simple log of conversations, appointments, and work performed.

Step 4

Report the claim

Contact us during business hours or your insurer's 24-hour line for emergencies. We'll help guide the process.

After Hours Emergency

If you have an emergency requiring immediate assistance outside business hours, contact your insurer's 24-hour claims line (listed on your policy documents or below). Contact us as soon as possible on the next business day.

Note: If you don't hear from a claims adjuster within 48 hours, contact us right away so we can follow up and escalate appropriately.
